What is Katan Adventures?

Katan Adventures provides action-packed, eco-centric, guided outdoor adventure trips and travel for Jews and friends of the Jew in their 20s and 30s. Our trips are not affiliated with any Jewish movement and they do not promote any religion. They do, however, reflect the fundamental Jewish value of tikkun olam, (heal the world). This means that our guides will show you the best outdoor adventure activities that our destinations have to offer, such as surfing, skiing, rock climbing, mountain biking, hiking and more all while being mindful of our impact on the environment within which we travel and, ultimately, live.

We revolutionized breakfast, why not travel?

Join us on trips to:

Costa Rica - Where we will raft Class IV whitewater, zipline through the rainforest, hike at night around an active volcano and surf on pristine beaches.

Jamaica - Where we will stay at an eco-lodge perched on cliffs overlooking the ocean, hike in the dense Blue Mountains, raft down the Rio Grande and surf in Boston Bay.

El Salvador - Where we will mountain bike through El Impossible National Park, stay with a local family in the jungle, surf on isolated beaches, and wakeboard at sunset.

Mexico - Where we will stay in a bungalow overlooking the ocean, spend our days learning to surf and spend our nights in Mexico’s hippest surf town, Sayulita.

Brazil - Where we will spend a few days relaxing and surfing in one of Brazil’s best beach towns and a few days exploring Rio where our group will be joined by a bunch of young Brazilian Jews who will show us their favorite spots.

Argentina - Where we will spend four days skiing in the Aspen of Argentina, Bariloche, and finish our trip in Buenos Aires.
